Giving back to the community is extremely important to us here at CRR—in fact, it's one of our core values. Over the years, we have raised funds and awareness for various causes. Our clients, friends and family members have generously donated to our causes as well. We needed an organized process to raise funds and subsequently distribute those funds to qualified charities, thus, the CRR Charitable Foundation, Inc. was born. Through the CRR Charitable Foundation, Inc., CRR is able to collect funds, in addition to our own internal fundraising efforts, for the various philanthropic organizations that we care about.
CRR is pleased to announce that we have created a memorial scholarship fund in memory of our late friend and colleague, former CRR Partner Greg O'Gorman, who passed away in November of 2018. Run by the MassCPAs, the Gregory T. O'Gorman Memorial Scholarship Fund will award one deserving accounting student per year with a $5,000 scholarship.
