As a firm, we feel that giving back to our community helps boost employee morale, builds a collaborative and inspired team spirit, and just feels good! We work as a team, not only to support our community, but to support our colleagues as they participate in world-changing initiatives that they truly care about.

CRR employee serve dinner to critically ill children and their families at Ronald McDonald House Boston Harbor, a wonderful organization that provides free housing to families whose children are receiving treatment at Boston area hospitals.
Each year during tax season, CRR hosts a winter food drive, collecting more than 20 bags of food, household supplies, and personal care items that we donate to the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. This non-profit volunteer organization provides emergency food and household necessities to Wakefield residents who have fallen on hard times. On average, the food pantry serves more than 500 local families in need annually. We also recently hosted a Packing Party at our office, packing food, toiletries, cleaning and household supplies into 200 bags for donation to the food pantry.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
The Light the Night Walk is a fundraising campaign of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS), which brings together families and communities to honor blood cancer survivors, as well as those lost to the disease, and shine a light on the importance of finding cures and providing access to treatments for blood cancer patients.
For several years, CRR employees, friends, and family members have joined together with our business affiliate, Ferriter Scobbo & Rodophele PC, to raise money and participate in the three-mile walk around Wakefield's Lake Quannapowitt. Together, we raised nearly $10,000 for LLS, coming in first place for corporate fundraising teams! The funds raised by Light the Night participants will help advance breakthrough therapies for blood cancer patients.
Each holiday season, CRR employees participate in local Toys for Tots and Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry holiday programs.
Throughout the holiday season, CRR employees donate food and supplies for the Wakefield Interfaith Food Pantry. Volunteers use the donated food supplies to fill decorated baskets, which will provide a complete holiday dinner, including dessert, for local families in need. Employees also donate brand new toys for our annual Toys for Tots collection. At Christmas, Toys for Tots coordinators and other local volunteers distribute the toys to children in the community who may not have received gifts otherwise.
The ultimate success of these campaigns depends on the support of the community and the generosity of the people who donate. We are very proud to be a part of both of these amazing programs each year.
